Y-Tasks is a collection of development helper tools for Symbian S60 3rd edition smartphones. As the version number shows all application parts are beta versions.

All application parts are tested with Nokia S60 smartphones only, but essentially they should work with any other 3rd & 5th edition S60 mobile devices, with and without touch screen.

No plans on making versions for earlier versions of S60 mobile phones nor UIQ mobiles are planned.

Y-Tasks plug-in: Main server, unsigned version 055(English)

Y-Tasks application and plug-in modules are all self-signed, thus they are missing some important functionalities. The main server is made to implement these functionalities, which currently include process & tasks Killing and changing file type mappings with Filetypes plug-in module.

This sis file is unsigned and you are required to sign it with your own developer certificate. Or go to Symbian signed and use open signed on-line. Just remember that you’ll need to mark following capabilities:
– Location,
– PowerMgmt,
– SwEvent,
– WriteDeviceData,
– ReadDeviceData,
– ReadUserData,
– WriteUserData,
– UserEnvironment,
– LocalServices and
– NetworkServices.
